isn’t there something terribly disconcerting about no one taking anything seriously ever? Either we’re being ironic or sartorially tongue and chic, but we still won’t admit that we like the very things we hate on. We can’t express admiration without distancing ourselves, or we lose perspective on the things we love and make, reducing them to the inevitable douchebaggery of our disaffected egos. If it’s gonna be like this, let’s be honest about it at least.
